Handling of Personal Information
1.Basic Policies
Daiseki Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") recognizes the importance of "respecting the personality of individuals" and "protecting the rights and interests of individuals" and that handling them appropriately is an important social responsibility of a company. We will strive to appropriately protect personal information in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and related laws and regulations and making all directors, employees, etc. fully aware of their importance.
2.Acquisition of Personal Information
When obtaining personal information, the Company announces, expresses, or informs its purposes of use, and acquires personal information in a legal and righteous way within a scope necessary to achieve the given purposes. Personal information that the Company obtains refer to personal information provided by the customers and personal information provided by third-parties.
3.Utilization Purpose of Personal Information
The Company uses personal information obtained for the following purposes in appropriate ways:

The Daiseki Group may share and use personal information below among the Daiseki Group within a scope required to achieve the utilization purposes stipulated in the preceding clause:

5.Disclosure and Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
The Company shall not provide personal information to a third party without a consent of the person who provided that personal information, unless the Personal Information Protection Law, related laws, and/or regulations allow.
6.About Security Control measures of Personal Information
To prevent unauthorized access to personal information, as well as loss, manipulation, or leak of personal information, the Company establishes and implements a privacy policy based on the internal rules related to handling of personal information, and the Company implements necessary and appropriate security control measures, including appointment of the person in charge, clarification of authorities, employee education and training, management of controlled areas, implementation of access restriction, and management and supervision of subcontractors.
7.Outsourcing of Personal Information Handling
The Company may outsource all or partial personal information handling within a scope required to achieve its utilization purposes. In that case, the Company shall sufficiently examine the competence of the candidate subcontractor, as well as stipulate non-disclosure terms before entering a subcontractor agreement, and the Company shall be responsible for necessary and appropriate supervision of the subcontractor.
8.Coordination with External Services
Services provided by the Company may work with third party services (hereinafter, "external service"). In that case, personal information shall be used in accordance with the terms of use and privacy policy of the corresponding external services. The Company does not have direct control over personal information protection or contents of the external services. Refer to the terms of the corresponding external services.
9.Disclosure of Personal Information
When requested to disclose personal information based on the Personal Information Protection Law, the Company discloses personal information to the person who provided that personal information, after verifying the request is made from that person, within an appropriate period. However, when disclosure meets any of the conditions below, all or partial information may not be disclosed. When the Company chooses not to disclose, it will be notified.
- 1.There are risks of life, injury, property damage, and loss of other interest and/or rights of the person who provided the personal information or a third party.
- 2.There are risks that may impose adverse effects on the Company's healthy business operation.
- 3.It violates other laws and regulations.
10.Correction of Personal Information
When requested by the person who provided the personal information to revise, add, or delete (hereinafter, "correct") contents of personal information because it is not true, the Company promptly conduct necessary investigations within a scope necessary to achieve the utilization purposes, unless specific procedures are stipulated by other laws and regulation. The Company shall correct personal information based on the investigation result, and notify the person in issue.
11.Suspension of Use of Personal Information
When requested by the person who provided personal information to suspend using that personal information or to delete personal information (hereinafter, "suspension of use") because the information is used beyond the scope of utilization purposes announced in advance or the information is obtained in unauthorized means, the Company promptly conducts necessary investigations. The Company shall implement suspension of use of the personal information based on the results, and notify the person in issue. However, if a large cost incurs to implement suspension of use of personal information, or if it is difficult to implement suspension of use of personal information and an alternative option is available to secure the interest and rights of the person in issue, the Company shall implement this alternative option.
12.Miscellaneous (Use of Access Analysis Tool)
The Company's website uses Google Analytics by Google Inc. to track the site usage. Google Analytics collects the site usage using cookies*, and the data is managed and used in accordance with the privacy policy of Google Inc. Customers can opt to disable Google Analytics through the browser's add-on setting, and can stop personal information being collected through Google Analytics. 13.Compliance with Laws/Regulations and Revision
The Company complies with the Personal Information Protection Law and other relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines. To ensure the Company handles personal information in an appropriate way, the personnel in charge of personal information conduct audits on a regular basis, and continuously review and improve the efforts in each clause above.
